Clinical Internship

Clinical Internship is an essential component to the (se) certification.  This 20 hour internship is completed at one of our approved host clinics or at special event race expos.  Through this process candidates for certification will gain real time clinical training, implementing both theory and clinical skills.  Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to perform gait analysis, standing postural assessment, functional strength testing, familiarity with the (se) approach of achieving neutral alignment, ability to locate # patterns, determine treatment principals, deliver safe and effective treatments, recommend appropriate strengthening/ lengthening exercises and make basic corrections to form.  Upon completion of the Clinical Internship candidates who demonstrate competency will be awarded (se) certification and will be authorized to advertise themselves as such.  Certified (se) practitioners will be added to the Clinical Directory.

Prerequisites: Therapeutic Assessment, Clinical Skills and Clinical Application.
